Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen, yes, you heard me, ‘ladies’ and ‘Gentlemen’. Today’s topic is one that has been searched on the internet by both men and women. And before getting into it, let me be very clear that the solution to get fair skin as given below is for those who were born with fair skin that has gotten dark due to tan and other factors, and is also for them who were born with darker skin tone. The given steps will make you fair for sure, if you’ve fair skin that is just tanned or damaged, and even if you’ve naturally dark skin, i.e. right from the birth, then too these steps would make your skin glow, light, clean and healthy. And to be really honest even I used to think that we who are dark are less attractive as compared to fair people when I used to have dark skin. But now I’ve seen men superior and more charismatic than me who are dark. So don’t worry too much about your skin tone, just try and enhance it more, and of course it’s who you’re inside that means of course.
Now why do we get dark and damaged skin? The reason could be Genes, Hyperpigmentation, over exposure to sun that leads to tan, skin inflammation, dead skin cells, over sensitive skin, excessive melanin production, pollution, etc.
Given below are the simplest ways to deal with all these together and get a fairer and healthier skin:
• Washing your face: wash your face about minimum 2 times to maximum 3 times a day with a face wash. Washing your face daily twice or thrice keeps it healthy, bacteria free and removes most of the freshly developed dead skin cells or Tan. And excessive washing will cause your skin to produce more oil which will make your skin oily.
• Cleanse your face: I’m giving this point seperately because of what you need to use to cleanse your face. Salicylic face wash is the best option if you want to get fast skin fast without damaging your skin.
• Scrubbing: After cleansing with face wash, use a de tan scrub in your face. Scrub your face with the de tan scrub for two to three minutes in your face and let it rest in your skin for 8 to 10 minutes. Then rinse with water. Scrub your face twice a week at max for better results. If you want me to post on home-made scrubs, let me know by commenting down below.
• Use warm water: Yes, that’s right, It would be great if you clean your face with a lukewarm water before ‘scrubbing’ or applying ‘face pack’- that is the next step on the list. Because this would help open up your pores and this would help you scrub of the dead skin cells deep in your skin.
• Apply face pack: You can either make face packs at home or purchase one, Because it is easily available in the market. After cleansing with lukewarm water and salicylic face wash, Apply a thin layer of de tan face pack evenly everywhere on your facial skin and the neck area too if you want and let it dry for four to five minutes or wait until it gets completely dry then just wipe it off your skin with a wet towel. Do this step almost daily then you returned home from outside, when you are over exposed to sun.
• Apply moisturizers: Believe me, ignoring this step pains a lot. Apply moisturizer to your face twice daily right after you have done all cleansing or scrubbing or applying face packs, whichever you’re doing that day. This helps maintain the required amount of oil in your skin, stops excessive oil production, stops excessive melanin production, And nourishes and makes your skin glow.
• Sunscreens: Of course, precaution is always is much better than solution. Always apply sunscreens to your face and neck areas and let it set in your skin for at least 20 minutes before you expose your skin to the sun or pollution.
• Sunbath: Yes, it’s true, As harmful as the sun is, it has the same amount of benefit too. Now that doesn’t mean you go expose your skin to the sun all the time. The ideal time to have sun bath is around morning 11:00 AM 2:12 PM and evening 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. And most importantly apply sunscreen before you expose your skin.
• Dermatologist: OK, well, although this is not a solution to be recommended. But If you really are someone who urgently needs to lighten your skin tone or have to treat it for any occasion, then it is recommended to consult a dermatologist.
